There’s a place for everyone to serve at Harbor. Whether you enjoy welcoming people, working with kids, supporting worship, or serving behind the scenes, we’ll help you find the right fit.
Serving is more than filling a role. It’s an opportunity to use what God has given you to help others experience Harbor in a meaningful way.
As you serve, you’ll build relationships, grow alongside others, and become part of what God is doing through our church and community.

SERVING AT HARBOR
Questions about serving?
Here are a few things people often want to know before getting started.
Do I need to be a member to serve?
Not for every opportunity. Some serving roles are open to anyone who calls Harbor home, while certain leadership or ministry positions may have additional requirements.
Are background checks required?
Background checks are required for roles that involve children, students, or other areas where additional screening is appropriate.
How often do I need to serve?
It depends on the ministry and your availability. Some teams serve weekly, while others rotate every few weeks or serve as needs arise.
Can my family serve together?
Yes. Several serving opportunities work well for families, and we’ll help you find an area that fits everyone’s ages and interests.
What if I don’t know where I fit?
That’s completely fine. Tell us what you enjoy, what you’re good at, and when you’re available. We’ll help you explore opportunities that may be a good fit.
Can I try a ministry before committing?
Yes. In many areas, you can meet the team, learn more about the role, and experience what serving looks like before making an ongoing commitment.
